On my first day in Antarctica, I used to be shipped off to survival coaching. This was a terrific thought as a result of I’m not a lot of a survivalist and I may do with a bit of coaching. We spent a lot of the day constructing an ice-block kitchen to dam the wind so we may prepare dinner some meals, arrange some blizzard-proof tents, and digging out an ice-cave to sleep in. Now, I didn’t dig out most of this cave, however I positively obtained down inside to take pleasure in its advantages. By the way in which, in the winter it by no means will get darkish there, so that is what it seems like round midnight.
