One of the biggest money savers in travel, whether it’s airfare or hotel stays, is dealing in bulk. For companies like Hilton, who have frequent business with massive corporations around the world, there is a system of pre-negotiated price reductions called Corporate Discounts that are useful for those who are eligible.
The Hilton Corporate Discount Codes offer a great way to save on travel for these corporate partners, and often times their family members can use these or similar codes as well.
Who Is Eligible To Use The Corporate Discount Codes?
In short, you have to be associated with the company whose code you are using in some way. You can’t just use this list and book a discounted rate for yourself, for example. The bookings are cross-checked for validity to ensure that the special rate is being appropriately applied to a valid person.
For simplicity, these codes are generally useful for employees, vendors, customers, and sometimes family members of those three categories – depending on what permissions have been given. While still a discount, you can still actually earn Hilton Honors Points on the discount, which is something not commonly done with most partner discount programs.
How Good Are The Discounts?
The strength of the discount really varies according to a few factors. Some closer partners of Hilton get up to half off published rates for larger Fortune 500 & 100 companies, and it logically follows that the more the companies spend with Hilton, the better corporate discount codes they have.
The size of the company, and of the back-and-forth travel Hilton houses with that company, is a major factor in how quality the discounts are while using the corporate discount codes. A company like IBM, who has frequent business travel, is the type of clientele Hilton wants staying in their hotel, and thus offer a very strong discount to receive that offer.
How To Use Hilton Corporate Discount Codes
Perhaps the only truly confusing thing to know about the Hilton Corporate Discount Codes is that, for each company, there are two codes. These include the “Acquired Brands” code, and the “Hilton Brands” code. No matter which company on the list you’re talking about (except two – Honda and UPS have only “Acquired Brands” codes), they all have two different codes, and it’s imperative to use the right one.
So, what’s the difference? The “Acquired Brands” code means anything under Home2 Suites, Homewood Suites, Embassy, or Hampton Inn. “Hilton Brands”
It’s important to note that Hilton can have two different corporate codes for any given company. You’ll need to understand the background of these codes to make sure you use the right code at the right Hilton Brand. Both are listed in the table below and categorized as either “Hilton Code: Acquired Brands” or “Hilton Code: Hilton Brands”.
The codes in the “Acquired Brands” category represent codes associated with DoubleTree, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites and Home2 Suites. These all are separated in terms of code to denote those brands acquired in the 1999 deal with Promus Hotel Corp, and thus the title “Acquired Brands”.
“Hilton Brands” include some of the newer label hotels like Hilton Hotels, Curio, Tapestry, True, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and the Hilton Garden Inn. Just think of this like a “sku” for the two hotel brands, helping them to track what’s being used across a massive corporate structure, and keep tabs on the total amount of dollars being used and discounted.
Current Hilton Corporate Discount Codes
As of the end of 2019, these are the current, active Hilton Corporate Discount Codes. Please note that Honda and UPS do not have “Hilton Brands” codes, but otherwise, all companies on the list do have two separate codes.
Making Sure Your Hilton Discount Code is Provided
Using the code is really simple. When you’re searching on the Hilton website, you’ll want to make sure you’re using the Hilton Honors portal. See the screenshot below.
Secondly, you want to click the small blue (+) button to expand the booking box. It’s on the right side of the booking box.
This will expose a blue hyperlink that says “add special rate code”. Click that hyperlink.
Next you will enter your appropriate discount code, per the chart above, in the “corporate account” box to the far right.
The search will show hotels that participate in the program in your chosen city of destination that have open vacancy. From there, you simply need to finish the booking process and show up on the right date!
Do keep in mind that these codes change with regularity. We’ll make sure to update this list yearly with the newest available corporate discount codes we can find.
