From my somewhat extensive knowledge of comics, I believe that Gotham City is based on a parallel universe version of New York City. In the comics and movies, Batman always has a bit of a blue tone, so sometimes I like to shoot New York using the tungsten or incandescent settings to get the same sort of look.
